Weekly Research Question
Each week, a new research question is posted in the library. All of the Language Arts teachers give credit for completing it correctly. We read each and every one of the entries to make sure it's right and the source is given before giving the names of those who did it to the teachers. Answers can be found in many different sources - which is the point of doing the question. Students learn about and get familiar with encyclopedias, almanacs, atlases, and using the library catalog to find books.
Rules: You must find the answer to this question in our library - not on the internet or in a book at home. Use the form provided in the library with your name, grade, answer to the question, and the name and call number of the book in our library where you found the answer. When you're sure you've found the right answer, drop it in the box on the circulation counter. A new question will be posted there each Wednesday. The winner will be drawn from all correct answers and will be announced each week to receive a giant pack of candy bars!
